Brian Turner is the Area Director for Seminaries & Institutes of the Church in Canada. He supervises the work with Youth and Young Adults and has come to know and love them all across this great country. Born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Brother Turner joined the Church as a Young Adult in Kelowna, British Columbia. He taught released-time seminary and was director of the Institute of Religion in Lethbridge Alberta. He and his wife Sharon fell in love with the Eastern half of the country as he served as Director of the Toronto Institute of Religion from 1998-2004.

Brother Turner received his BA and MA in Education at BYU. He and his wife Sharon are the parents of 6 children and grandparents of 16. He currently serves in the Church as Bishop of a Young Single Adult ward in Lethbridge, Alberta and is thrilled to be able to come and visit the Young Adults in Ontario at this conference.
